Mark your calendars: Shepherdstown’s 2019 4th of July parade and picnic will be here before you know it. As usual, the parade and picnic will be held on the 4th itself, which will be a Thursday this year. The parade will be held downtown starting at 11:00 am, and the picnic will be held at Morgan’s Grove Park from noon to 3:00 pm. Both events are sponsored by the Rotary Club of Shepherdstown and free and open to everyone. Watch this space for details as planning continues.
