The Jefferson County Museum invites the public to a free panel discussion, African American Women’s Experiences in Jefferson County: 1930s to 1960s, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at the Jefferson County Museum. The talk will feature five panelists who lived in Jefferson County between the 1930s and 1960s: Brenda Branson (Shepherdstown); Delores Jackson Foster (Bolivar/Harpers Ferry); Rev. Alice Hunter (Mount Pleasant); and Janet Jeffries (rural area). Additional Charles Town panelist to be announced. Linda Downing Ballard will moderate. Light refreshments will be served.
