The Animal
Welfare Society of Jefferson County is having their annual fall yard sale on
Saturday, Sept. 7th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The sale will take place at the Zion Episcopal Church Parish House at
221 East Washington Street, Charles Town.
There will be a large variety of household items, linens, electronics,
toys, books and more. All proceeds will
go directly towards taking care of the many homeless cats and dogs that reside
at the shelter while waiting for adoption.
The Animal Welfare Society has been serving the community since 1952 and
has operated a shelter on Leetown Pike since 1985. Come and shop to support your local animal
