A barn quilt is a large piece of painted wood that looks like a single quilt block and decorates the side of a barn. You can see them for yourself in just about every state in the U.S., but they are a historic and traditional decoration begun by the Amish in Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.
This class will take you through the history behind this Amish tradition, and learn how to paint your own Barn Quilt for your home! Jennifer will expertly lead you along each step as you make your own precise, beautiful barn quilt in the colors and design of your choosing.
Class fee is $75 and covers all materials, including wood base, paint, tape, hanger, and frame in your choice of wood. Finished barn quilt will be around 20″ x 20″.
Space is limited! This is a one day class that lasts for 3 hours.
