September is a beautiful month for paddling! Canoe or kayak 5.5 miles on the winding and scenic Potomac River from Snyder’s Landing to Shepherdstown. On this guided paddle, enjoy watching the eagles soar above and spotting the many other birds that call this area home. End your day at the Bavarian Inn’s 40th annual Oktoberfest on their lovely 11 acre parcel overlooking the Potomac River. This annual event is fun for the entire family! German band and dancers, Bavarian food, beer & wine stations, vendors, arts & crafts, and children’s activities and games are all included.
