The Jefferson County Museum is hosting a family-friendly Children’s Day on Saturday, September 3, 2016, from 11 am to 4 pm. Admission is free for children and participating caregivers. The event will include a variety of hands-on crafts and activities for children of all ages to learn about 19th and early 20th century communication, entertainment, industry, and household work. The Charles Town Farmer’s Market is hosting its own Children’s Day from 8 am to noon on the same day, across the street from the museum, at Washington and Samuel Streets.
