KPP Summer Distribution is a little different than our normal KPP school year packings that are held in the cafeteria. Please review the flow below carefully as some things change for Summer.
We need approximately 40 volunteers to serve for June / July. These are smaller gatherings where we load frozen meal boxes into KPP delivery team vehicles and send them on their way to designated KPP summer drop sites to meet the families.
These drop sites are very important and a great time of blessing. It gives each team the opportunity to meet our KPP families face-to-face, share, bless and communicate with them directly. Some teams get creative with their site. i.e. Clothing give away, etc. If you would like to sign up for a team next year, let us know. 🙂
HOW KPP SUMMER DISTRIBUTION WORKS:
KPP provides a frozen meal box, covering a child for a month, that are specially designed and packaged for KPP. We also bless them with a large box / bag of cereal and a 16 oz jar of peanut butter.
This is a different set up than our normal KPP school year packings.
We meet in the parking lot for prayer, form an assembly line from the freezer to the delivery team vehicles.
Delivery teams then set out to their drop site to distribute the food.
